    Name of your website?

    Sound Of Joy

    Your name?

    Joy Simons Brown

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Kingston

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Explains our work in providing entertainment, the qualification of some of our musicians,an impressive listing of our clients and a few photos

What inspired you to launch your own website?

A lot of our clients provide repeat business but we found that new clients had many questions so it is so much easier to refer them to a website

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

    Recently launched this one

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I am the owner and musical director of the business hence the name 'Sound of Joy'

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Musicians in Jamaica hardly ever adverstise or are listed. In these days people need information

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We have it mainly for contact now, but intend to include commercial services such as arranging, composing etc.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We have a great reputation for being reliable and satisfying, but we need to market the business more. I am looking at the many ways I can invest in marketing

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would add more pages and provide visibility to other musicians and create more products

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes. I work with other reliable musicians and we would be able to guarantee great service

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Not many really. We have to keep our equipment in good working order at all times and keep substitutes. Haven't had any problems in this area.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Most of the activity takes place in the last six months.I could handle more business especially in the first six months of the year. I feel there are events going on and I need to advertise

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I have just started promoting. My business cards work well, and I have a data base of clients who are now happy to know about my website

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I want to keep it interesting so I need to devote more time to add new photos, upload compositions and provide links. It requires continuous attention. I like that though

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

A few mopnths. I know it will increase business based on the comments so far. People seem to feel I am moving on up

Replace this with a question of your own

Are you able to give me feedback on responses to this posting ?

    Thank you

    What is your website address?
