Please give us a short summary of your website?
I am a multi-award winning vocalist with a California Teaching Credential. I have toured all over the United States, Canada and Europe. I offer voice lessons and vocal coaching in all popular styles. I offer my services to motivated vocal students who would like to improve their singing abilities such as increase their vocal range, develop better breath control, learn about ear training, improve your diction and enunciation to become the vocalist you've always wanted to be.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I've been having fun creating MySpace Pages for others, so it seemed I create one for myself.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was for my mother. She is an artist. You can see it at SclupturesPlace.com it is a very large site. I then designed a website for my band: RandaLee.com
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I noticed that when people wanted to find a voice instructor they usually typed in "voice lessons" or "vocal coach" followed by the city and state where they desired to take lessons
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Mos voice teachers and vocal coaches don't really do much performing. I sing and play in my band and have for years. I know what a serious vocalist needs to know!!! Plus I've won numerous regional, national and international awards as a vocalist, bassist and entertainer.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To share as much music as possible!
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
So far, GREAT!!!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I'd blog every day. I'd bulletin every day. There is so much information that needs to be shared.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes - if I don't sleep . . .
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
MySpace keeps going through growing pains. Sometimes dealing with them can be tough.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Submitting to every search engine I can find.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site is less than a year old. I hope to maintain it till I die.
