Wordsmithmusic.com is the premier unsigned artist site on the net as you can download free mixtapes, promo albums, listen to XM Radio Freetyles, Watch Music Videos, LIVE Shows, Read reviews, Interviews, and Features.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I needed a way to promote my music on a regular basis to the internet and I believe being professional is important.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my first website in 2004 and it was called wordsmithmusic.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

That was easy, it was logical to let people know who I am and what I do, so I chose wordsmithmusic

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It site makes me look like I am signed to a major label already.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To get at least 1,000 visitors to my site a day.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It is a constant grind for that to happen..

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would add a web cam function, so people could chat with me LIVE and see some of my shows Live.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yup

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None..

What has been your biggest challenge?

Just keeping it updated because I have alot going on.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

E-mail Blasts, myspace, forums

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

For 4 years now and I plan to get it running..
