Please give us a short summary of your website?

We are a UK Entertainment Directory offering valuable advertising space for entertainers and providing bands for weddings, corporate functions, private parties etc With our large directory and contact base we specialise in lastminute emergencies!

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We were then a small group of young London musicians looking to find work for ourselves and others.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

www.lastminutemusicians.com was the first! Launched 2003

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Catchy, easily memorable, targeted at what we do.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We are niche in London, maintain quality as a priority and do not simply recruit every artist that we can find on myspace!

For clients we are approachable offer excellent service and we strive to make the site as user friendly as possible.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To be the 'google' of entertainment, or first port of call for people wanting entertainment in the UK and eventually intertnationally.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We're working on it. It's more for the love than the money.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Expand expand expand, recruit lots of new staff, develop marketing teams, sales teams, webdesign teams, recruitment teams....need I go on? We'd probably get a bigger office too!

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

With the right new staff certainly.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing massive, the occasional difficult client or mix up with a funciton, but all easily dealt with!

What has been your biggest challenge?

It is and always will be having enough hours in the day to keep up with all the hundreds of ways we wish to grow.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

SEO - adding content to the site, building link relationships

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

More people have been interested in working with us than we expected.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Whilst the site has only been around for 4 years, we have been doing the business since leaving school. It will be around until there is no longer a need for it. So hopefully forever!

All prices are fixed and available instantly online. 8) We strive to offer comprehensive entertainment solutions; ‘everything under one roof’. 9) We reply to all correspondence promptly and efficiently. 10)We love what we do!
