Please give us a short summary of your website?

Ed (Boyle)Palmer and his three daughters sing and play old time country music.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

A way for public to perchase it.

Two years ago. www.edpalmer.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is music that I have been playing since I was a wee Lad.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Now day's music changes like the weather and mine doesn't.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep this music alive through my kids and if I can use the sales money to help them in music school!

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I have this great opertunity to make this recording with my children! And hope to record anuother cd if we can afford it.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would keep entertaining with my children as long as i can to teach them more of what I've learned through te music years. I am 62 and want to enjoy beening with them as long as I can.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

High Cost of recording and loosing daily work while doing it.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Advertising and low on work. (Carpenter) Liveing on a small Island in Lake Michigan.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth I guess.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

The site is great . I don't know how to push it out to the public. I have very little budget at this time. It's hard to know who you can trust! I have a great radio ad made up . That is costly to put on air also. I had it on a few times.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

@ Years when i can afford it. I have cofidecce in the recording and my girls to keep trying,
