Stee Cline

Please give us a short summary of your website?

My website contains my professional bio information, the music from my debut cd 'One Man Wrecking Crew', music video of 'One Man Wrecking Crew' and my appearance schedule, as well as some of my favorite links.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted people to be able to listen to my music, view my video and learn about what inspires me and keeps me going in the business. I am looking into keeping a blog.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

January 2008. www.steveclinecountry.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It's my name and the genre of music I perform. My name was already being used by a real estate agent.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It has information about myself! I have full length songs avialable as well as my music video. They are available for free download.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To use as an informative site for prospective clients.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It is relatively inexpensive to upkeep and provides prospective clients with the information they need.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I'm not sure I would change anything. Maybe higher quality graphics and photos.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes! I have a great girl who updates all my information for me and makes sure the site is as informative and appealing as possible. For free!!

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so for.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Trying to keep it fresh. We are working on changing things up so there is always a reason to come back and see what is going on.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Email marketing. We also have it listed on many free music sites.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is actually easier and less painful than I thought it would be.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I started it in the beginning of 2009 and will keep it up and running until I no longer want to perform my music. Indefinately!

What would you be doing if not performing?

I love cooking! I have a BBQ catering service and I owned a BBQ Restaurant named Steve Bobs. I gave this up to get back to my first love which is music and peforming.

What is your website address?
